Tailored Expositions: Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2026 Collection
In Pharrell Williams’ Fall/Winter 2026 Menswear collection, "Timeless Textiles," the masculine figure is reinterpreted through a combination of the unwavering aura of classical aesthetics and modern, conscious-dressing statements. Presented at the Fondation Louis Vuitton back in January, the event simultaneously celebrated the 130th anniversary of the LV monogram—created by Georges Vuitton to honor his father Louis, the founder of the brand in 1854. The show was set within the enduring symbol of a refuge: a home. A prefabricated glass house, furnished with Williams-designed furniture and scented by Jacques Cavallier, was surrounded by a lush garden that took the garments from the inside of the house to the outside world, symbolizing the clothing’s versatility. Fabrics ranged from jacquard with reflective threads to aluminum-structured shirts, rare vicuña wool, mink, and photoprint textiles.
Over a soundtrack that went from coral music to A$AP Rocky and Jackson Wang, the outfits were classic and to the point. Timelessness was the recurrent theme of the designs portrayed, which were crafted with technical ingenuity and eager creativity to build the silhouette of the "New Dandy." As is usual with Williams’ LV designs to date, his vision aligns perfectly with what the modern man sees, or wants to see, in himself: practical, sensitive, and in control of his emotions. An immaculate understanding of fall and winter colors, mixed with the elegance of classic dressing and the vim of our innovative times, makes this collection truly Suited and Booted.
