Prada's Men’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection was introduced on a cold Sunday in January at Milan Fashion Week this year. Its theme, “Before and Next”, explored how dressing can evolve without ignoring the sartorial past of clothes. Elongated tailoring introduced slender, stretched silhouettes. Gangly, Ichabod Crane-like figures rushed down the runway wearing distressed leathers and muted colors to emphasize the story of the garments. An example that sums up the collection is Look 26: a slim silhouette with excess material in the trousers and the lapels of the double-breasted blazer, paired with a long-sleeved T-shirt with even longer cuffs adorned with just a single cufflink on the left wrist. The imperfect elements, reminiscent of the Japanese concept of kintsugi through the framing of the intentional staining and damage as an art form, could be seen in those same cuffs as well as on the footwear. While an authentic Prada outfit will set you back several thousand dollars, the entire look can be recreated for much less.
