Luxe Lineup: Jacquemus spring 2027

Jacquemus is one of the few American designers to have showcased their new Spring collection. The collection was showcased at the Phare de la Pietra lighthouse off of the island Île-Rousse in Corsica, France. The collection was titled, “Le Bonheur,” meaning “happiness.”

The inspiration for the collection was pure and simple, following just as the title would assume, the designer, Simon Porte Jacquemus, drew from the season of summer itself and the light, natural airiness and simple happiness that one feels during the season.

The collection was light and airy, showcasing flowing maxi skirts, gauzy sheer dresses, and tiered feathers. All of the textures and silhouettes worked together to showcase the breeziness of the summer set against the perfect natural backdrop.

While the colors shown in the collection leaned towards neutrals and soft pastels, the pops of teal, cherry red, shades of yellow and burnt orange all allude to the colors of the summer ocean and sky. These references naturally and subtly nod to the summer season on a French island and the peaceful le bonheur that comes with it.

Jacquemus has accomplished exactly what he set out to do with this collection, earning it a rating of opulent allure. A show that creates a feeling of a place and time is truly special, and Simon Porte Jacquemus has proved he knows how to do just this with his Le Bonheur collection.
