Luxe Lineup: Collina Strada Spring/Summer 2027

Collina Strada became the first international brand featured at Copenhagen fashion week. Debuting their Spring/Summer 2027 collection, the designer, Hillary Taymour, leaned into dreamy florals with the collection titled; “Delirium in Bloom.”

The brand is supported by The Climate Pledge, which acknowledges their commitment to circularity within the fashion industry; each piece shown at Copenhagen Fashion Week was made out of deadstock and recycled materials.

Design-wise, the show featured bunched tulles and overdone ruching which made the pieces look straight out of a fairytale. The styling along with the hair and makeup helped to sell this fantasy with models sporting pink and blue hair tinsel, glitter, feathers, and puffed flowers. Each model resembled a fantasy: sequined fabrics and wet glittery hair resembled mermaids while splotchy colorfully dyed pieces alluded to a more natural floral print.

To end the show the designer, of course, brought out two small dogs to join the closing walk. Featuring dogs is something that has become somewhat integral to the brand and has added a truly joyful element to a sometimes overly serious industry.

The show was the most pleasant mixture of social and environmental consciousness, beautifully constructed design, and etherial, playful looks. It is clear that the collection was created for the joy of design, and for that, it has earned the title of opulent allure.
