Luxe Lineup: Chloé FW 26

The Chloé Fall/Winter collection exists somewhere between a Fleetwood Mac tribute and Daisy Jones and the Six. Naturally messy waved hair, long layered pendants, maxi skirts and mini dresses, lace and leather; Chloe is the epitome of the luxury boho style with influences from the ‘60s and ‘70s.

The collection was made by Creative Director Chemena Kamali who sought to answer the question “What do women naturally reach for?” by seeking to create designs that real women would wear in line with the bohemian heritage of the brand.

The construction and proportion of the looks remained essential to the message. By contrasting harsh leathers with delicate lace or pairing thick waist-sinching belts with flowing blouses, Kamali created artistic structure that is distinctly Chloé.

Kamali also notes that the collection takes inspiration from Bettina Rheims’ work and portraits of what it means to be a woman. While keeping the Chloé aesthetic alive, Kamali has created a sensual, sometimes rigid, depiction of womanhood and the day-to-day life of women. The question “What do women naturally reach for?” has turned into an ode to the beauty of women and the beauty they find in the materials, art, and around them. This collection has earned the rating of opulent allure as a beautiful tribute done with flawless construction.
