Luxe Lineup: Givenchy Fall/Winter 2026 Collection

Sarah Burton’s fall/winter collection for Givenchy is meant to portray the strength of the modern woman: light feathers, stiff over-the-knee boots, colorful prints and patterns, and everything big, big, big.

The show featured 56 looks, making it hard for any one model or piece to stand out. Some of the outfits seemed disconnected from one another, related only by integrating parts of the color palette or specific patterns seen on previous looks; slinky lace evening gowns clashed next to boxy fur coats worn with ballooning gloves, and the elegance of a perfectly tailored three-piece suit was followed by a form-fitting neon orange jumpsuit, paired with an oversized chain necklace and black feather peep toe sandals.

The most wearable pieces in this collection were the headwraps, which their designer, Stephen Jones, says are the most natural hair coverings. The styling of the hair and use of headwraps adds some refinement to the looks and an added thread of connection where the garments might be lacking.

In addition to the head coverings, the gloves (resembling deflated boxing gloves) comically large ascots, oversized dangling jewelry, and of course, the feather shoes, were really what stole the show. These elements made the runway read as something only Givenchy could pull off as well as contributing as a uniting thread between looks.

While a unique interpretation of an important message using vibrant, sculptural elements alongside soft feathers fit the theme, the busyness of the collection as well as the lack of wearable pieces earn this runway a rating of everything but the fit.
